Fuel pump

ive got a 101 with 3.5 V8 and carbs. It currently has a diaphragm fuel pump and I am thinking as its failed, of replacing it with a rotary pump from say a freelander
Can I do this or or will the pressure be too much for carbs, meaning I'll have to replace it with another diaphragm pump?

Hi, what carbs are you using, some of the SU's (I think) may have a return pipe - so over pressure is not an issue.

I had a facet pump fitted when I converted my V8 to an Edelbrock carb.

Its the original carbs so assume SU

Fit the standard pump.
