Droped my 90 (2.5 NA) in the garge yesterday to get the ring gear changed on the fly wheel.

Whent too pick it up last night only to find the engine still swingin in the air, It needed a new seal of some sort (they had ordered it over night and should be here to day some time) but while the engine was out the spanner said it has two minor oil leeks by the look of it, the head gasket could prob do with replaceing, (I already got one of these in the house) and the fuel oil pump seal.

Now my question is how hard is it to replace the fuel oil pump seal, he pointed to something low down on the side of the egnine, I am just woundering if this is something I can do on the cheap my self, or if its something I should be asking them to do while my engine is out?

Thanks

swings n roundabouts, the gasket is easily replaced but as the engine is out of the vehicle there seems little point in them putting it all back in for you to do the job afterwards, it'll take them a minute to do it.

Find out how much extra thay are going to charge you.

If it's reasonable and you can afford it, then let them do it.
