Ok so I got a fuel sender for the bottom of the filter & replaced it all & now the chuffer won't start.
I discharged the battery trying to start it & am now trying to get it going jumping it off our Fiesta.
I can hear the fuel pump running & the engines spinning quite well but it's not making an attempt to fire up.
Does it require priming or something resetting after a discharged battery ?
The fuel pump sounds like it's got air in it from the squelching sound coming from it.

Any help would be appreciated.

the easiest way is to fill the fuel filter with diesel and then gfo through the purge cycle once. If you haven't filled the filter before fitting, you will need to do the purge cycle 5-10 times.

Turn the ignition on and wait for the pump to stop working. Once it's stopped, deck the throttle pedal 5 times. The pump will start back up and run for about 2 to 3 mins. When it stops sgain repeat the same process as many times as it takes.

It usually takes about 7 or 8 cycles.;)
