Fuel Cap broken - where to buy

Yesterday my keys go stuck in the fuel cap and in a hurry to take it out I dismantled the whole cap. Now I need a new fuel cap, any suggestions where I buy it from?

Does Halfords sell them?

Can get tempory ones from halfords, but they don't lock so your fuel can get nicked. Get a new one from a stealership or a second hand one from a breakers yard, just swap the locks.

Well thanks for letting me know, will try halfords tonight but is there any online place which sells new locks. As I dont know any breakers yard in Glasgow.

There's a breakers out on the B751 out by Kilmaurs Ayrshire just as you enter Knockentiber who had a fairly complete Freelander a couple of months ago that might be worth a shot. Unfortunately I don't have a name or phone no. but it's easily seen on the right just before you enter Knockentiber coming from Kilmaurs via B751.


If it were me, I'd buy one of these.
