Disco 2 Front wing

What are disco2 outer front wings made from and is it possible for repair shops to weld pins to them to pull out dents.

Would it not be easier to get a new (2nd hand) wing if it needs that much work?

Disco 2 outer wings are alloy. The only steel bits are the four side doors, the roof and the floor, in short the only bits of the body which rusts. I haven't looked too closely at the sills, but I would presume that there is some steel in there somewhere.

Recently took my accident damaged disco (not my fault) to other parties insurers repair shop for inspection prior to repair where inspector said they could pull out dent using described procedure.
Just wondered how feasible this was given that I thought but was not sure wings are alloy.

As long as they repair it to the satisfactory level, I would not worry how they do it. That is their problem and the other parties insurance cost issue.
