Hello people,
Got into the disco yesterday and found out both front windows have stopped working. All I hear is a click from behind the glovebox each time I press the switches. I checked the fuses and all seems to be okay.
The back windows still work though, so I'm wondering what it could be.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

which fuses did you check? ...and what do you mean by "seems to be ok"...are you certain that they are OK or not...concentrate on F34 interior fusebox

there is no relay for the windows, they are managed by the BCU which used to suffer by water ingress/corrosion at the plugs(it's behind the glovebox

I've been at it all afternoon... I did check F34, found it to be good but still swapped it with a new fuse but still no joy. I removed the glovebox and I can hear a clicking within the BCU when the window switches are pressed. What would you recommend I do next?

isnt there corrosion or water ingres at BCU's plugs?

I haven't actually removed any of the plugs for fear of messing the thing up and causing something else to stop working. I just fiddled with the wiring a bit, all the while pushing the switches, checking if that would make a difference. With that clicking sound present within the BCU, I assume its switching power to the window motors, only that power is not getting there. Is that correct?

yes, that click means that the command from the switch gets to the BCU... see attachments and if you are good with electrics start measuring... the BCU reverts the feed for motors according to up or down command

double check fuse F13 in the engine bay aswell

measure at C0459 ... C0463 is on the other side like in the mirror(same shape)

Will do... I've just about run out of daylight now so I'm going to have a go at in the morning. I hope to God I sort this thing out myself other than having to call on the local dealership for help. Thanks for the help mate, I'll keep you updated on how it goes.
