Front Window wipers

Hi guys haven little problem with my from window wipers on my freeland 1 they work fine but on the first setting when engaged the wipers will just go to the top and stcik and will not return if put on the other setting the wipers will just continually move like supposed to any one have any idea what could be wrong cheers Tj

I have a similar problem. The intermittent wipers stop half way up the screen and then return on the next wipe but dont park at the bottom. The fast settings work fine. I am gonna replace the wiper motor as there is something built in which controls this. I think if you wipers just stop dead at the top of the screen and dont continue wiping then its probably the stalk beside the steering wheel thats the problem. This is what I understand after reading several threads on the subject.
