Dear All
I have a 05/55 petrol Freelander HSE, and I don't think it's enjoying this rather fresh winter.
The petrol pump went a couple of weeks ago, and after 7 hrs awaiting recovery, my affection for the old girl was severely stretched.
Yesterday, admittedly after I put some water in it, the front washers gave up the ghost - checked the fuse, but its OK and the wipers are working. Rear one OK - wonder if I could have dislodged something, or whether the pump is likely to have croaked - all suggestions greatly appreciated. There is no 'pump' sound when I try to activate.
Having heard an unusually high level of road noise I have also noticed that the sun roof stays raised in one corner, leaving a noticeable gap. It will close if I push it down when closing, but it's not a good look!
I don't know if it's politic to do so, but an answer copied to [email protected] would be most appreciated as a lot of bulletin boards etc are quarantined at work, and I'd quite like to get this sorted.
Many thanks
Steve
