Hi Guys, I have just got a pair of front seats fully electrical but I want to put these in my motorhome is there a way of bypassing the ECU and getting these to work, e.g forward and back and reclining if possible even up and down, not bothered about the heated seat for now or the lumber support.
But I would like to use the switch that fitted to the seats and not add any other type,oh they also have the memory buttons as well, don't know if that makes a difference. Thanks.

If they have the memory buttons, then there should be an Outstation under the seat. (Non-memory seats drive the motors via the buttons)
don't.

The buttons & motors are all connected to the seat outstation, and there's a data link to BECM. Not sure if the memory is stored in the outstation or BECM, but definitely linked to Key-1 & Key-2.

You might get lucky if you use the diagrams from RAVE and power up the outstation without the BECM connection to see if they work. (pages 255-267 depending on RAVE version)

And because I'm feeling generous today here's the relevant sections from RAVE. if the outstations don't work without BECM data link, then wire then according to the Power Seat diagrams.
