Radius arm bushes renewal...
Usin' poly bushes.
Quite an easy job to do really.
( If ye have the OEM bushes then ye'll need to burn the rubber out and then haksaw the metal sleeve to remove it, or use a big press.)
In my case the radius arms I was usin' had been fitted with the Polybush kit so wasn't too bad to do.

Here's how ah did it...
First ah loosened the nuts and removed the wheel...

jacked up the bus and put an axle stand under the chassis and on the axle. Then ah took off the track rod on one side...

Next ah took off the big nut at the back of the radius arm..

removed the big washer and the bush from that side. Then took off the front nuts and bolts...

unclipped the breather hose and then gave the radius arm a couple of chaps with a big hammer until it fell out...

Ah removed the old bushes from the donor by knockin' the metal sleeve out with a suitable drift (a big bolt)...

then used a screwdriver to remove the bush.
Just a couple of piccies of the donor radius arm being painted after a good clean and sandin'...

Next ah fitted the bushes to the radius arm by greasin' the holes, stickin' one half of the bush in, flippin' it over, stickin' the other half in, greased the metal sleeve and squeezed them all together...

just a piccy of the old and donor arms..

I had to re-use the big cup and the big washer that fits either side of the new bushes..

Then ah stuck the radius arm through the chassis mount and put the other half of the bush on then the big washer and the nut (loose)...

and using a jack and a block of wood, pushed the front end up...

It didn't quite line up properly, so ah tightened the other end up a bit and gave it a wiggle about with a prybar ah finally managed to get the bolts in..

Tightened up the rear bolt and stuck the track rod back on...

Put the clips on and reconnected the breather pipe, fitted the wheel and that's it, job done ;) :D
