Front passenger door locking

I have a l322 2003 td6 my front passenger door would not undo so had to go in from inside and release the dead lock.This mullered the latch etc so i have bought a new latch and fitted. Now i have lost electric window controls don’t know why, the passenger lock know opens from the inside and not outside the button gos up and down when locking or unlocking with the key, but passenger front will not open from outside.
Can anyone give me some pointers where to look.
I have checked fuses and had a look at the wires between chassis and door in the pillar seem ok.
