Yesterday changed front hub and brake pads and now getting rumble from axle more noticeable from about 40mph checked wheels and topped up axle oil but no change and I can't hear anything with wheels off the road although I'm thinking it maybe from the diff or the hub that I put on so may put old one back on and try that as bearing are ok but it has and issue. Anyone have any thoughts on it. Thanks

Does it disappear when you take your foot off the throttle and then come back as soon as you apply any load?

Sounds like you may not have done something up tight enough, such as the half shuft hub nut or the bolts that hold the wheel bearing in place.

Failing this, you may have a faulty wheel bearing, but you can normally tell this by putting the wheel off the ground and wobbling the wheel in the vertical and horizontal axis for play. Another thing you can do, is put your hand on the spring and spin the wheel, should feel no rough spots through the spring.
