Hi guys , just after a little help and advice ..

I bought a yellow britpart diff guard , the round one ..

I had to prise it open to get it over the diff , but on doing so am no longer able to fit the bolts , it looks so tight and that it’s never going to fit ..

What I thought was going to be a 10 min job turned in to a right pain , I called to check the part and I’m told it’s correct ..

Are these types of guard that tight and a pain to fit ?

Cheers

Mine are a tight fit but have always managed to get it on and off no problem. It might be worth fitting longer bolts and prising it apart with the longer bolts still fitted so you dont have problems lining them up again. Once tightened down you can then swap them out one at a time to smaller ones, or leave the long ones in.

The one my friends 90 came with has 150mm blots fitted! they caught on everything you drove through so were replaced with shorter ones, but someone else clearly had a similar problem.

Do you have any pics? If it doesn't fit, send it back.

Unless you are rock crawling, you are very unlikely to really need diff guards. And the rest of the time they just lower your diff clearance.
