hi ca n anybody help, the wife as a freelander 53 plate td4[ i no thats her fault] but the traction control warning light not [hill decent] is stopping on was mot on friday, i,ve had a read nad checked brake lights and they not working cud this b part o the problem??

you were right storm 99 twas my 1st time on a computer and now ive read it i cant understand it.
But again way that was in the past, reason i,m back is 2 of the studs that hold the injector down have bust 1 has snapped and 1 wont undo or tighten up, plus the horse shoe clamp as snapped in too, how a man tells me he can fix it on my drive???? is that possible???

think I dropped a bollock,, buying another freelander, but hay ho
anyway,, yet another prob. Bad starting takes ages to fire up, nearly flattens the battery I,ve had the injectors checked "ok" new fuel filters and oil, if I,ve had the battery on trickle charge over night it fires 1st time, also its a bit sluggish low revs, could it be a leak back on feul??

unlikely if you've had the injectors tested.
think the answer is in the "if i've had the battery on trickle charge over night it fires 1st time" statement.
would recommend a new battery first, and get your alternator checked out, or check it yourself if you know how to use a multimeter.

My tuppence worth is.. If its drawing air it will throw out lots of white smoke.
Had the same problem with my camper and had to change the fuel filter housing.
You could look at that...
