Started last night when driving all of a sudden it went very vibey and can feel it all the time I did unplug my maf sensor the other day as had loss of power and it made it.loads better could this be the problem?

Could be the crank shaft pulley - they have a rubber damper between the inner and outer elements which delaminates. If its dark, shine a torch on it while the engine is running and see if there are and shiny flecks of metal floating around.

It went away but seems to come on when I turn full lock one way and then disapeares when drive down the road a bit mainly noticable on stamd still

Sounds like the damper pulley has de-laminated.
I've not really noticed an increase in engine vibration when they have failed. This is why they are difficult to detect on occasion. Most of the time there is a just a noise when at full lock or when the AC is on.
