Hello guys
I have 56 plate td4 freelander 2.0 diesel which is hunting and lose of power. I have replace the fuel filter which was not done for many years, also have a injector seal to replace. While having a look I found a little inline filter at the back of the engine to the belt side of it. But it is not connected the rubber pipe looks as if it had worn off, as well as a metal pipe near it that’s had nothing connected to it. I am a tech by trade but never touched landys. Any help would be great thank you

That's the turbo vent filter. It vents to atmosphere and has no connection on the atmosphere side. There should be a small clip on the pipework on the bulkhead behind it to which it attaches to prevent it waving about in the breeze.
