Freelander td4 maf ~idle problem!!

Hi changed the maf on my 53 plate freelanrder today.Now worse than b4! it wont idle properly until u rev to about 1500rpm with the interior blowers on but if u knock them off will idle and drive fine?? any ideas?
the fuel jets were also cleaned. My nephew did these for me and i dont have the heart to tell him somethings wrong!!

been readin my haines manual but cant c why the internal heaters would cause this. any help would b much appreciated.x

are we talking no ability to idle at all or just lumpy?

what did he do to clean injectors? did he remove to clean?

fan/air con puts load so will make revs drop and an idle problem with become more apparent.

I assume he took them off. Yes i think lumpy would describe it or it will idle lumpily for a while then cut out.
