Freelander td4 engine overbore

So not that I'm thinking of doing it but I was just wondering, can a td4 be over bored? And where would one get hold of the new pistons and rings?

according to the Haynes manual .. oversize pistons are available
no other info is given ..
except to consult a LR dealer or engine rebuild specialist

You will get the M47 piston rings in a few oversize sizes. Same rings in a M57 engine as well.

Microcat lists pistons and rings as:-
Grade 0
Grade 00
Grade 0.25 O/S
