Hello everyone. I'm from Kenya, East Africa. I fix land rovers mostly freelanders.
I just left college 2019 and these European beasts (landys of course) are one any local mechanics don't get along with too easy.
So I've been working on TD4s and this one couldn't get loose on my nerves.
We ran a manual scan on the ecu and we discovered a P(can't recal the digits) fault for the MAF sensor which displayed a check engine on the dash panel.
We replaced a new MAF sensor, dash light went off but still the engine judder(vibrations) and black smoke couldn't stop.
I'm starting to think I'm not good enough to fix landrovers...please prove me wrong soon. Thanks for watching.
