Hello All

OK as you will see from my other thread, I cocked up and bought the wrong CD changer. I am now seeing if I can compound this error with the side steps.

I have bought a used pair of genuine Land Rover side steps with the above part number. I have the correct rivnuts/nutserts and tools to fit them, what I don't seem to have is the correct holes in the chassis to insert the little blighters.

The same steps are fitted to my brother in laws 2002 Freelander no problem. Mine is 2000 vintage, is there any difference to anybody's knowledge? I have checked for holes cunningly concealed by pieces of tape and can't find any of these.

Just to maintain a small amount of self pride, the towbar went on OK and the electrics work, so it's not all bad news.

Thanks for all replies.

Dave
