Freelander Problem!

Hello, Im having a problem with my freelander 1999 diesel 5 door.
I have a light on the dash indicating there is a door open, But all the doors are closed?
When i try to lock the doors it sets off the alarms.
Can anyone help?

there are switches on all doors and bonnet to tell the ccu if they are closed or not, one of the switches may be bust.

I think they are in the door lock mechanisms. Purple and white wire to them.

yes they are . . . .and thats your problem [thinks the door is open] and set alarm . . . .[normaly driver side go's first]
