Freelander lights

Hi all first time landy owner can some ne help me figure out which lights should work on the back of a 2003 freelander under the 3 settings ie 1 normal lights on
2 fog light setup
3 under braking

Yer brake lights should work independently of all other lights when said brake pedal is pressed.

When putting on side/head lights yer should see two tail lights on the rear.

Yer rear fog lights will only work when the head lights are on.

If you have the rear brake lights and tail lights in the lower bumper and they operate at the same time, then this can be caused by fitting a single element bulb as opposed to the correct two element bulb. Covered many times in the Freelander section below:
