Freelander 1 Freelander HDC

Evening all

Quick Q.

When I press the HDC button in the Mrs car ( 55 TD4 ) it flashes, in the D3 it stays permanently lit when pressed for eg.

Is this correct or is there an issue?

The HDC light flashes when the system is armed, but not activated. HDC only activates when the gearbox is in 1st or reverse, at which point the flashing light goes solid.
