Hi All,

My first post so be gentle with me...just bought a 2000 Di Commercial as a second car ( great to have something you can throw stuff in and not worry too much about getting mucky ie dogs / logs / chainsaw etc ) anyway, i was wondering about the Special Vehicles decals and plate under the bonnet ! Does this have any significant meaning ?

Also, i think it originally had a roof rack as one of the bolts is missing at the back, does anybody know where i could get one without paying silly prices.

This is my 3rd landy over the last three years, the others were both classic rangies which i still miss, just not the fuel bills, and i'm pretty impressed with my wee van but i'm thinking i should have waited for the much applauded TD4...i'll see how it goes...

Hello & Welcome

Specail vehicles is a land rover trademark for there van market, All it meens in the real world is that, you've got no rear side windows or rear seats!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

For your roofrack i would give Paddock Motors a ring at Matlock.

Finally, The TD4 is a good engine, However your 2.0Di unit is a proven power unit, and it does'nt have a load of computers and expensive electronics that go wrong!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D
