Hello guys I’ve picked up a freelander 1 cheap but has no boost, looked at it and the gasket is falling out and missing a nut on the studs. So probably the cause, I’m having so much trouble finding the gasket phoned Land Rover and they say the diagram doesn’t even show one?
Any one know where I can source one/part number?
Thankyou

Ah sorry.
From memory, I'm not sure there is a gasket between the the manifold and turbo, but it's got to be 15 years since I've pulled the turbo from an L series, so I can't remember.
There’s something that looks to be a gasket falling out of mine, I can’t imagine it would be metal to metal?

I guess it should have a gasket then, but it's strange that LR couldn't see it on the parts list.

Some turbos are a direct connection between on the manifold joint. If both surfaces are machined flat and accurate, there's no need for any any form of joint sealing.
Seals and gaskets are only use, to compensate for inaccuracies in manufacturing. ;)

Haha I work in the aero industry and rarely see that, I would be very impressed if Land Rover were going to those extremes!
