Freelander 1 Folding mirrors not working

hello there I was hoping someone might be able to help me

I recently purchased my first Landrover Freelander 2.5 v6 Automatic Premium Sport edition. It’s fully loaded.

Slight issue is the folding mirrors. Once the button is pressed I can hear the motor working trying to bring them in but they won’t come in. Also both are realy wobbly and was wondering what the issue could be. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I think the cog's may have lost some teeth so they won't auto fold
Yer need to remove the mirror glass and have a look
