foglights

hi just took my k reg discovery in for mot and failed on rear brake disks and foglights so going to change the discs but the foglight switch lights up inside but nothing happens on the rear, bulbs seem ok any ideas what to look for

Strange two bulbs going at once unless u never check the lights and u have had only one working and now thats failed.

There's not much to it power, switch, bulbs and earth, so as nathan said above.
Did you test the bulbs... no just look at them.

dodgy bulb holder, fuse...time to get the multi meter out and see what is happening at the bulb holder when the light is turned on
