Sent it back and it worked for a while then no transmitting light so i gave up and just used the key. When i replaced the csr battery I decided to replacd the fob ones as well. Should last longer than ten days shouldn't they? All ideas welcome. I have done @wammers insulating tape mod.Ta

I have had the low FOB battery warning a couple of times, both time is has been corrosion on the contact in the lid.
The batteries should last years.

Duracell batteries Mozz.,as you know I'm not in scouseland but need the alarm in case they cross the Mersey.;):D Or if I store Cake in it, so the Cake Munching Manc cannot get his hands on it:D:D

Never had to replace the batteries in either fob, yet!

@MrSporty is the fob refurb master. Does seem odd just 1 going though.
Think that's where I had mine done if he's in Peterborough. full refurb, got the low battery message soon after getting it back.contacted them and returned for checking didn't last long after that so just used the key. When I replaced the car battery 11 days ago I decided to replace the fob batteries, with Duracell, worked fine until yesterday.

Don't know where he is to be honest. He's on eBay somewhere. Suspect I may end up sending him mine when I finally have to break into it!
