Flipping ebay twit

Well the guy I bought the bullbar off tried to pull a fast one as it's severely damaged unlike his listing pic and info so now I need to send it back to that ****tard so I can get my refund


Anyone going down to kent ?

From cumbria or lancashire even manchester ? I could meet part way as I really cant afford to pay that Kunt £30 for postage

can't you just send him the bill as the goods was not as described

Send a complaint to eBay about it. By rights he should pay for postage. Take photos of the damaged item and show them to eBay with a link to the item listing (ie how it should look)!

i had this happen to me, posted a bonnet (why someone would want it posted, not sure) parcelforce battered it and paypal took money for item and postage straight off me. might be worth starting a dispute, as mentioned above

Started a complaint and the guy has offered me a full refund plus maybe part of postage

So it's almost all good, if I'm not happy though I can escalate it to a dispute on in a couple of days and try to get everything back

Surely you'll still be out of pocket though even if he pays part of the postage. You'll end
up with no bullbar and out of pocket. I'd stick to your guns and get your money back and he pays full postage up front. If it got damaged on the way to you he needs to take it up with whoever delivered it.

I'm still awaiting his response, I told him I want the full refund plus £10 to cover my shipping costs

Lose a few quid on postage but I want it gone ASAP cos I want my cash back

Got a full refund, does anyone know if its possible to send an item back so that the recipient pays for the postage ?

Or is that not possible ?

Just bang it on ebay as damaged and get some more dosh :-D

try and sell it back to him as top notch gear then see how he likes it

Cant they wont refund me until the item reaches him


So I have to send via a tracked service so ebay can track it them selves meaning he cant **** off with the item and my money

Drive to his house and bill him.Take a few mates.

You could post his address here and send round a possie.

pack it up, tell him it is ready for collection, and if it's not collected tell him it will be disposed of. i have anything that in incorrect collect by my DHL at my expense.

Ebay wont give me a refund til he gets the item back but I only have to give the tracking info to ebay so that they can see when it arrives and he cant pull a fast one
