Thank you very much if anybody can help dont want to spend that much to find out it wont clear.

Thanks in advance

looking at that picture of your landy an the radio I'm gonna say you have to do some mods so the radio sits square and not at an angle in the radio whole, as this wold cause the screen to lean at an angle onto the dash and going over any bumps may crack your screen etc if that makes sense?

thanks for the reply ! I reckon you are right, im thinking just bite the bullet and do a dash conversion!

Thanks dude very helpful

haha.... I know its **** but I had one in a an old car back in the chav days and I had problems with the flip screen.... but have a look at raptor engineering for some dash modifications

Ive gone and bought it and will make it fit somehow ! I will you let you all no if it works out alright without any modification!

If you can get a dash conversion for a double din head unit instead. Less moving parts to get bounced around.

Ooops too late. Good luck.

Aha either way ill have it so will have to make it fit! Ive heard there really sturdy but whether that counts in a defender is another story!

Hi so currently have it all fitted, took all the dash apart in the end as it has a bulky DAB connector (powered amp?) which will no way fit behind the radio. Ran dab antenna and microphone to each top corner of the windscreen all works pretty well! The radio will not go all the way back because there isn't enough depth so i have a couple of spacers on the way. But all seems good ! very sturdy and doesn't shake at all and its not even properly fitted yet. Will post pictures up when the spacers come

I wanted one that flipped down rather than up as I fitted mine overhead. I couldn’t find anything sept a couple of Chinese things you clipped the screen on manually.
Ended up with just a standard wireless.
It makes noise
