Flat folding Front seats

I'm in the process of tweeting my 90 to allow for sleeping inside!
So I'm looking for front seats that have removable head rests that can then fold flat allowing me to have the full stretch of the interior available for a sleeping area. Does anyone know anything that could fit the bill, or does anyone know anyone that could adapt a set of seats to do this?

Standard LR seats fold flat if you remove the seat base and headrest.

headrests on mine were a right bugger to release.

had to open the back of the seat and use a nylon mallet to knock them loose.

Hmm I need something that would be easy to release quickly, like in a standard cars rear seats? Any thoughts?

The obvious answer is to get some standard LR seats new or refurbish some. More than a few people have replaced their standard seats with other makes to get more comfort (a standard seat with new cushioning isn't as bad as you'd think) and so you might get lucky with a wanted ad in the LZ classifieds.

I will have a look and see if I can see refurbish my set my plan is to be able to remove the head rests then fold the seats flat to make part of a sleeping deck?

I'm not an expert so someone else will have to tell you whether the headrests are removable on Series or Defender seats - I can't remember and, unfortunately for you, threw away my seats to use another type.

Yes you can, the problem being there are so many that will fit you will chase your tail making a choice. Have a search on here.
