FL1 Clutch & slave replacement

Might anyone give me some idea how much a clutch & slave replacement might cost? And how long it might take? Has anyone had this done recently?

Oh, my FL1 is a 2005 M47 model.

At least 5 hours.
You can find a full kit with slave cylinder from luk ( other slave cylinder don’t last )
You need also gearbox oil (mtf94) and ird oil.

Budget for the gearbox input oil seal as well while you are in there.

Is there a special tool required to centralise the clutch before tightening the mounting bolts?

An universal centering tool will certaintly works, but I think it's the last tool you need ...
But before that you will also need a long bar to remove the drive shaft, certainly a new bolt, a lot of pernetrating oil ( one day before at least ).
Something to hold and manipulate the gear box easily, unless you want to do some workout.
