FL 1 wiper switch/stalk - where to buy

Freelander 1 wiper switch / stalk. Do you know a source for these new ones in Europe, preferrably in EU? Ebay has these listed but they are in US and shipping cost is guite a lot + taxes.

Mine is working and not working. Seems to have these symptoms in cold when it takes a loooooot of time it to start wiping in any mode. I will open and clean the switch but would like to have a spare ready also if needed.

To me, that would probably suggest a motor problem, rather than the switch. Please comment on whether or not the new switch or cleaning the old switch helps.

When it starts working, all the modes work. And manually pressing down on stalk works everytime. Found one old thread where this kind of behaviour was diagnosed down to switch.

I'll post when I'm done.

Oh, right. I was thinking worn bushes or something causing a lazy motor. If it works fine in the manual mode, then that does sound like good news for the motor.

It was the switch. Cleaned it with toothbrush and wd40. Put some synthetic vaseline there. Everything works now.
