Can any one tell me the best way to fix soundproofng underneath the bonnet of my defender

Didn't the stuff you have got have a sticky back on it??

If not get the best adhesive that bonds to whatever material it is and the metal of the bonnet/bulkhead...

Get a couple of spay cans of impact adhesive ( it's like evo stick but you can spray it on )clean area properly spray both surfaces wait till touch dry and put on sound proof. do not use regular spray adhesive it will not last. you can get it from a flooring wholesalers .
