fitting longer breathers; can't get old on out!!!

I'm fitting longer/higher breathers to my Freelander.
The IRD was easy, now I'm doing Rear Dif and can't get the old one out!!! I've pushed, pulled, twisted, wiggled and turned it in it's cassing but it won't move.
any ideas, please...

When I did mine I think I just fitted a connector to the existing breather and then went from there... I think

I just pushed some clear plastic pipe over it and ran it inside the car through the towbar electrics grommet

Mine are now at the top of the bonnet, all 3 terminate at the same place

Done, thanks for the help guys!!!
at the end I left the rear dif breather in it's place, warmed the new hose a bit and slid it over the old one, to make sure it was air/water tight and wouldn't pop out I wrapped some heat shrink tubing over it.
hose runs along brake lines from back to engine bay

and sits with IRD breather near Power Steering tank

Gearbox one sits near to the battery

What sort of pipe did you use? I would like to raise my breather pipes as well. Thanks

it's irrigation hose
size is 6mm outside 4mm inside

I've got a breather going into my rear bumper I've not followed it properly so without me checking any ideas?

I used 6mm pipe from a place that sells fish tanks.
