I'm fitting a quick access anderson connector on the front of the seat box, for jump leads, and I'm wiring a winch up. The battery terminal is already a little crowded, so I'm fitting one of these:

300A Busbar With Cover - Free Delivery : Solar Accessories : Maplin

This will be fed by a lead from the bettery. All the vehicle's power needs, will be routed through this.

I dont want to spend another £45 on the same thing for the negative terminal, so what can I do?

Is it possible to use a brass bolt, fixed through the seat box, to which all the negative connections will terminate. This bolt will then be linked via cable to the negative terminal..

Also, some of you guys have smaller fused connector boxes for lower current accessories... wheres best to get one?

Cheers

Anybody else got any suggestions how to terminate multiple heavy gauge earth cables to my battery?

umm... do you realise your landie acts as the negative? So you can just terminate things directly to a 'good earth' point. Then on the battery all there should be is one really heavy duty cable connecting to the chassis or engine.

Whats the easiest way to do it? Out through holes in the battery box and bolted on to a tapped hole in the chassis rail?

Right if your connecting earths you can mount your earthing points wherever is handy I.e. The closer the better as long as surface contact is good, yu don't need to make any special modifications to existing wires you got on there as your battery is attached to t'chassis already that's why when jump leading a vehicle the one with the duff battery you can put jump earth to any metal earth near the battery, it just stops an overload on a single earthpoint (which is possible) just make sure ur alternator can handle the extra workload (not that everythings gona be running at same time)
