now, I have googled this and not got any definitive, or helpful answers.

Got me gauge, got me sender, but where the chuff do I put it??

Is there a spare port somwhere for it?
Or do I need to cut into the oil cooler lines and insert a T, if so whick one, top or bottom, and where would I get such a T??

Ive had a quick look, but cant see anything obvious, the injector pump kinda gets in the way.

is there a port in the side of the mount?? Can't 100% see, but there again, not sure just where im looking, I presume on the front of it (as apposed to where the cooler pipes exit.

I can see an indent, or somthing here, is it a blank???

found a piccy of the mount...

the "indent" I can see is the one at the front of the pic.

Had to unscrew the existing 'dash light' sender and put in a t-piece on mine

Was a bit tight in terms of working space but doable - think i had to extend the existing sender wire too

Can send piccys if needed early evening - pm me if required as in office just now

If you have a look at the front end of the housing there should be a hex head which is approx 19mm AF. Remove that and there should be a fairly coarse thread which the sender screws into.

I found it on mine by accident! :D

What gauge did you get and where are you going to mount it?

Thanks.

I got mine of ebay, canbt remember what make right now, but mines moutned under the dash, just in front of the gear stick, just fits nicely, will get a pic on if I get a mo.

Don't forget, oil pressure can be taken off a remote adaptor but oil temp needs to be taken as close to the block as possible otherwise the reading will be false (photo of Tee-piece & guage is for pressure).

yes please.

here you go...

the gear stick is clost, but doesnt foul it, I was looking at aftermarket dashes, but TBH, they all look too bolt on to me, the pod looks better I think.

Im going to be putting the clock in there, and oil pressure. got fuel, water temp and voltmeter already in the dash.
Where the clock is is getting a standard plate (that I already have) that Ill get punched out for some more switches. :)
