Hi All,

Hope you can help with some niggling issues I have with my series 1 Disco. Just bought and very happy with it but:

Rear sunroof tries to open but sticks, can lift the glass by hand and it will open all the way, and close without problem.

Front sunroof doesn't work at all.

Cruise control not working, button lights up, but nothing happens when you press the set button.

Rear door speakers kaput - can you replace with normal speakers?

Would like to do all work myself if possible.

Frist thing frist down load the Rave disc from the forum, you get workshop manuals.

frist thing to check on the curise control, is the rubber pipes as the perish and split.

minor probs

seal the sunroofs with sealant to try to stop them leaking
cruise control??? does it matter if it dont work
leave the radio off so you can hear the creaks , groans and whines to guess whats going to break next

if thats all thats wrong its a good un

Thanks all. The Rave CD link seems to be dead. As for the sunroofs, they don't leak, they just don't open!

As far as I can tell, nothing else wrong, just needs a service.

there's probbaly a reason why they dont open.... maybe they were sealed before as they were leaking?

leaking sunroofs is a common problem

Perhaps it may be handy for you to learn how to search for things..........we cant do all your work for ya.

My front sunroof does the same. Needs a little help to open.

I only remembered today when I opened it to ventilate the truck while it dries out.

Good luck sorting it and let us know if it's an easy fix.

welcome to the wacky world of land rovers

sunroofs - just search the site there are many,many threads on this.

cruise control, dunno whats that? me i've got some big boots.

speakers , yep they're pretty normal types, but try ebay for some off a disco being broken.
