Finished at last!!!!

Today is a great moment!
My disco was taken out of the drive for a quick spin after I first started welding on the 31st of August!

Here's some pics of what I've been doing...
dont think i'll be able to touch a mig welder of a few months!!

Rear wheel arches..

both sides done...

interior back in place..

how the driver side was..

how it is now..

the front wheel arches

how they are now..

then also added new turbo hoses, clean the fuel sedimenter and connected all the axle, timing belt, gear and transfer box breather up to the top of the snorkel...

this was the crap in the sedimenter..

No, not yet mate, my mech said there's a guy in Newbury that might be able to help and also machine off that 1mm off the swivel point...
going to give him a try, if not i'll call your mate..

and I also think I found what's that annoying whinning noise... I think it's the transfer box as today when I was out I grabbed the transfer box lever and as I moved it the sound note changed...

Ooo... and also found out why I lost power... the air intake hose that connects from the air box to the turbo is all loose inside, so I think with all the suction power it colapses inside, closing the air passage..

You were just practicing ....

I have a real job for you, fix H 2 GAG Disco 200tdi bodyshell and then put the Yella Disco Chassis under it.

When can you start?

If there's any keen Landy person near me wants the job for money, let me know.

I will take it anywhere up to 100 miles if I can find the right fixer.
