In the rest of the car world I know this would be nothing to shout about but the best I have ever manges in my RRC 3.9 auto has been 12.6 carefull round town and 16.5 at steady 65 mph on the motorway.

I finally now have it running (thanks to stuart) at 16 mpg combined which is a lot of stop start town driving and an uncaring 70+ ish most of the time on the motorway, wahoo!:D

yep, i could have got the burner unit but its cheaper to get the whole lot off ebay. Its all working now. Just got to sort the diags out tomoz.

20 mins running gets it just at the blue line which is ample for lpg starting, 40 mins running gets it up to running temp. Its a good bit of kit!

So iam the only fbh on a p38 in the world, the first! It feels good to be first at something!

Stuart comes to Hampshire?

Hmm...

If you pay!

If you have him this way to work on yours let me know and I will book at the same time to save costs and vice versa if you want?

Its hard to get good help here! All the mechanics who have worked on it before have just feckd it up and cost me alot of money!

I know the feeling. West 4x4 seem to be pretty good though.

I'll let you know if I need Stuart.
