just got the transfer box off the gearbox and the fookin drive shaft off the back of the gearbox is well fooked :mad:

dont suppose anyones got a lt77 defender box kicking about going buckshe?
failing that its a disco box as a whole going in :(

that's a bitch and as far as I can remember to convert the box needs selectors swapping
 
ffs you fit a big gay bumper to it then big gay wheel arches now yer wana fit chavvy disco bits to it :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::brick:
 
I replacement shaft is £120 off Ashcroft. Might be worth the effort rather than fitting something else that might have other faults.

....or I will have a Tdi Disco LT77 on the floor by Saturday evening. I can't afford to give it away tho'. Let me know.
 
seem to remember that it is more than just gear leavers-I may be wrong though that input shaft length different too
 
surelyu if yu are changing the main shaft yu need to change the intermediate gear for a cross drilled one? Theres also two diff types (number of teeth).

i got a 200tdi box complete sat on the workshop floor that i was going to use the trani box out of thanks anyway bud ;)
 
fook knows what i'm going to do now :mad:
me mate says i can have his r380 deepender box complete ( for a few pennys more , as he has got another 1 to go in it that only has 16k on the clock :eek:)
the down side i have to take it out of his and help fit the replacement before i can do mine :doh:
decisions decisions :rolleyes:
also its going to be a new clutch too 9old 1 has about 4 or five years on it so will have to be replaced if the whole lots coming out :mad:
