Cant wait to fit the thing, but dont think i'll have time (or light) before playing at the weekend.

Looking forward to seeing how it looks, the last one I had was the Safari, but I couldnt justify £200+ again!

On quick inspection the stainless pipe looks nicely finished & the other parts look good quality. The diameter looks less than the Safari, but they assured me it's plenty big enough for the 300Tdi's thirst for air.

Any fitting tips out there, or shall i just follow the instructions to the letter?

thanks, i read your post a while ago and was one of the reasons I went for the Southdown rather than the Safari.
