well i got the fuel burning heater installed, all the leccy bits in and the diesel, yes thats right diesel, tank in (gonna replace that with a expansion tank when i get a minute.

the exhaust is all in too, thanks to j. your tape is in the post but i had to hire a full wagon for it!!

i'm more than impressed with it, just got to link the remote system in with it now, job for next w/end me thinks!!

toasty crimbo for me!!!

sweet if it works.put a freezer pack on vapouriser then see if it warms it.the blue block thingys the mrs has for picnics box.....

its only got to get the temp off the bottom, i reckon it should do cos i had it running and there was a dramatic increase in heat!!

if the exhaust is anythiing to go by then it should get sauna hot in the cabin!!!

as i said theres not really anything to look at, its just that unit lobbed in the pass side in engine bay near light, small container for fuel near there too (not near enough to burn tho!!!)

i will post the piccys tho in a while. i need to fit the remote kit, i'm toying with doing it tonite!!!!!!

i'm just too eager for my own good!

will it run ok on red? i mean will it smoke or owt? its never smoked all day whilst ive been ferking about with it, i'm really impressed with it, only cost me 60 quid from scrap yard.

obviously there were other bits and bobs to buy.

ive also connected the remote kit. can now start it up from the comfort of my bed, then get into a toasty warm car!!!

my last job is to connect it to the blower and rig it up to clear screen when its up to a good temp. thats not an important step tho!

yes it will run on red gav.it's no different to white diesel.the colour is just a marker to show when it is being used illegally.

unless you've got a very local red supply it'll probably cost you more to go fetch the fuel than it will save, they only sip fuel

wonder if they were an option on the siggys, they were on the omega doozel!! if they were and they were eberspacher then i can get hold of one, cheap, and if they are webasto i can get hold of one of them too!!!

its not illegal cos its not used to propel the vehicle!!! and dipping the tank wont be any use to em cos its petrol in the tank and doozel in a seperate tank

it's not as if he's going to be heating his house 24/7 on it

i can get it delivered, or pick it up when i'm at the yard, as you say they dont use much, a 25 litre tub would last a year i reckon (maybe 25 weeks at approx 200ml for 5 days a week!
