Well guys, I've finally done it. Decided to trade in my '99 4.6 HSE P38 for an '03 plate Discovery 2 TDi ES with 46k miles on it.
I will really miss the old gal who has been as reliable as could be after I spent a few hundred quid on patching her up and converting to coils... Don't think I've had a single console alert since then.
I can really use the extra seats (wife, bairns, occasional MIL) and the gas mileage on our 900-mile round Scotland trips will be less painful! To be honest the P38 is heading for the 100k miles and I think a few other things are going to appear....
I hope I'll see some of you on the other forum!
But it will be interesting to see the difference. After all, nothing else is really a Range Rover...
