Been looking around online for exhausts for my V8, my original is terminal!

Not interested in making it louder..

Ebay has a complete system..

Rimmers too, however their system looks quite a bit different compared to stock..

Any ideas chaps?

Cheers.

I have twin pipe Double S stainless on both mine, diesel but the V8 is much the same cat back I think.

I have their single-pipe system. The quality of the stainless of the pipe isn't great as it started getting spots of rust within a year. That said, it doesn't seem to be getting worse very quickly so hopefully it will be OK. Been on there quite a few years now.

What you want is this set then you wont have to worry about the boxes not fitting properly and hanging down:p

Got one of their Sports systems on my Classic. Rear silencer is still lovely & shiny & the centre box is now heat blued. Rest of it is fully surface rusted but not much penetration. 20+ years old now. Clearly more than one grade of stainless.
Would it fit the heading 'Exhausts that fit'? Absolutely not.

I had the Britpart one from Island, easy fit about £150 iirc, was a few years ago, still looked new after 2 years.

I don't think Landrover designed the twin tailpipe system very well either, the "T" section after the centre box would have been better as more of a "Y" , better flow surely.

The Double S cat back twin pipe system has been on my diesel for about 9 years, there is a bit of surface rust on the hanger welds but otherwise looks like new. Seems a good investment to me as it should outlast the car.
