In a bid to find a cure for the perennial problem of nasty old looking hard to remove heat shields has anyone had the manifolds ceramic coated and on the engine long term without issue?
Any other satisfactory solutions other than modifying the fasteners on the originals to something more robust. Had one come through my hands once with the fibreglass tape someone had put on but had gone fairly manky looking but guess it's ok if you're not too bothered about cosmetics.
