Reet, Just got off the phone to Terrain Vehicles who want to buy a load of my stuff for a customers car (Thanks Michael/Epicuser).

I know a couple of people on here have mentioned recently about wanting an exhaust guard, so now's your chance as I need to make some more clearly, but with the costs involved in making them, a group buy would be best for me.

Can people pop names below with interest please, and also whether you'd require a receiver hitch or not...

One of my guards with one of my hitches (the attachment/shackles can be bought at most offroad shops)

Oh, and have you thought about a sump guard?

Yep just a last few modifications to the drawing then I'll be able to get final pricing. Really need to make them too!

My list price for the exhaust guards is £190, I'm just waiting on a current price for the aluminium to come back so that I know what I can price them at now. All being well I'm hoping to be able to knock 15-20% off if I can get 5 people. As well as a deal on the receiver hitch for those who need one.

Right, had prices back this morning.

If I can get 5, I can do them at £160.00 Inc Vat & delivery.
If a receiver hitch is needed as well, I can do one for £80.00 Inc vat but only as part of a package with the guard.

Yes will fit any Freelander 1, from the very first to the very last, you will need one of my receiver hitches though if you don't have a suitable tow bar to bolt it to.

just to be clear I have a tow bar but will get a photo of it, and run it by you. before I put my name down for one exhaust guard,

Yeah thats best, can be made to fit most LR bars but best to check...

Of course if you don't use it for towing you could sell the towbar and get a receiver hitch with the proceeds ;)

Depends if I get any further interest/solid commitment, unlikely I'll be able to do anything over the next 2 weeks as I'm ridiculously busy at the moment!
