Ex fire service 90

My customer showed me his ex fire service 90 van with a 200tdi.
We are not sure if the engine is original. It seems to be fitted very fast away from the radiator and right up close to the bulkhead.
The viscous fan is missing but would be so far away from the radiator.
The fan would not be central to the rad either. In not familiar with the 200 so I don't really know but could the fire service have modified it for something?
Any thoughts?

looks like my 200tdi, because I don't have the viscous fan or shroud either. Instead I have an electric fan.

Everyone comments about the appearance of a gaping hole at the front of the engine, but that's how it appears without the shroud which is a chunk of a thing.

This is the only bit I don't have on mine. Someone will know what it is. All mine has is a blanking plate

I'll see if I can find some pics of the shroud. Might just be a case of buying the shroud and fan then.
The conversion only happened because he mentioned about an electric fan.

You don't have the Crankcase breathe?

I thought mine was standard.
I honestly don't know, but that pipe that's connected to the thing I pointed out doesn't exist on mine, neither does the connection to the rocker cover. It simply isn't there

That’s the crankcase breather, I can’t remember if it was added or deleted later, by landrover. I think it was deleted on later engines :/

I dont have one and just have the blanking plate.

That engine looks like a normal 200tdi without the fan or shroud
