I am totally new to landrovers....I looked under the bonnet, then closed it again, as I might as well be looking at a blank bit of paper, as thats all engines mean to me....
my wife has just come back from shopping,
the engine warning light, the one with the ! in it has come on,
my wife said it also lost power when she changed to third, and now it wont start, its trying to turn over.
I know its a stab in the dark...any ideas ?
I have only had the car just over 6 weeks.
I just forked out for a new clutch, and fly wheel, then had an oil leak on one of the boots...now this...all in a matter of three weeks.
I can see this going early at this rate.....
its had a full health check from landrover when I had the clutch done.

hi there if you look on the under neath the lid of fuse box should have simble and no of fuses . both fuse boxes have engine related fuse in hope it helps .

hi gary,
checked all the fuses. all OK
it started up this morning, but only went for a short trip and the light was back on, no power in 1, 2,3rd...foot on the floor, for a few moments, thought it was going to cut out all together, first no power then spurts of power and so on.
so its off to my local landrover later today ready for first thing tomorrow,....another few quid out the pocket
its sound like the primer is struggling when the key is turned to postion 2, and its quite noisy.
checked the bill from morrisons just to make sure the wife had put in the correct fuel...it says diesel thank god :)
will post back when I get the car back...just hope it makes it to landrover
steve
