Hey guys!

Soon i will be taking out my 3.5 v8 and lt95 G/B to replace it with a 200tdi from a disco!:D

Its the first time iv done an engine swap and wanted to know if its best to sell my old engine and gearbox as a whole, as an engine and seperate gearbox, or strip everything off and sell as parts?

If the best way is to strip down and sell as parts then which parts are worth selling seperate and what parts may as well be left attached to engine/gearbox?;)

Cheers, Scott

I'm doing a similar thing soon so would be interested in what you get for the engine, I've just seen a V8 go on ebay for 68 quid. Doesnt look good do it.

Il let you know how it all goes mate, Im hoping to get a bit more than 68 quid tho LOL!

I will be taking it out near to the end of November when i get back from me wedding!

Im going to pick up a cheap, complete disco and get everythin i need off it!

Make a video of it running and reving & stop start so when you come to sell those parts like on e bay you can post the link to you tube where they can see it.

This is done with plenty of things and gives buyers confidence because it's hard to prove when stripped that it runs.
